Me a well used factory Colt pre ban carbine= 600 rds no jams wolf and wwb mixed in old aluminum mags.

Them = 3 tacticool high dollar rifles, titanium bolts, charging handles, polymer mags, this and that ,etc. Shooting federal 62gr

Fail shoot, jam, jam shoot..................

Me, well let me try some of that ammo in these old mags. 90rds no jams.

I'm sure they're carefully trying to clean the brass off their shell deflectors right now.

Sounds like they had dry bolts. Nothing a few squirts of CLP wouldn't fix.

Coming from the highpower competition world, I had to relearn the lube lesson when I built my own range and started doing more plinking and blasting.  I run my match gun pretty dry and I transferred that over to my "for fun" AR's until I started shooting them a lot more often.

I think you're missing the point.

A $3000 weapon that is not properly maintained is a club.

Also actual range time with your weapon trumps having a tactical whizbang gun in the closet 100% of teh time.

I love a 20lb weapon that should weigh 6

Oh, so you'll miss instead, ok.

this is a very silly thread. Somethng being "kiss" or not has nothing to do with whether you are unable to properly maintain the firearm.

Yeah it does.

You should have seen the looks on theri faces when they opened their pelican cases up and pulled out these pretty ars and all I had was a well worn 6520. They snickered even.

It was a beatdown

I have never had any of my "Tacticool" guns fail to shoot.

Come to think of it I haven't had any of my "Throw down the driveway" ones fail to fire either.

I shoot old aluminum 20 & 30's, SS 20-30's, MagPul 20-30's and even C-Mags and none of tham fail.

I normally help my buddies out instead of trying to make them look like novices.

I bet if you did like 10 pushups a day for a couple weeks you'd be strong enough to carry a rifle with an Acog on it. You can start right now, just get off the computer and try to do 10 push ups. The first few days you can do woman pushups if you're not strong enough.

(My 16" Acog/rails/flashlight AR weighs 9.5 lbs loaded)
