.....Saturday Night Fever is a movie classic. I love this movie. And yes, I do have the soundtrack. Use to have it on vinyl, traded that in for the CD. Matter of fact, I have close to 5 different remixes of Night Fever, from the disco mix to one about 10yrs ago when they did the Techno remix, and lastly a rap remix about 5years ago.

SNF rules!!!! [:D] I'm such a dork

Aww c'mon, ain't that what real cowboys dress like [;D] ROFLMAO [:D]

SNF is the ephitomy of the 70's disco scene. There was a lot of people that hated the disco era, yet it keeps coming back. In the early 90's to mid 90's there was this whole retro deal that came about. To this day, dance club still plays disco.

I only remember the scenes were they come out of the disco to find his brother is doing that girl in the car and when they are driving around taking turns in the back seat with that one short womenz.

LT you sad cunt.  I thought you said you were a heavy metal dude until you figured the ladies preferred hip hop and dance music.  I thought you would more appreciate this movie:

Travolta could not find his asshole with both hands.

I suggest you go pick up a copy of the album by "chuck wagon and the wheels"

Travolta was born to play the villain, like in Broken Arrow, Face Off, IMO.
He showed incredible bravery in SNF for appearing with a BGs soundtrack.

Hey, get the DVD, I'm sure there's lots of extra footage of John in his incredible white pants...or even a few Bee Gee's interviews....could open up a whole new world!

Trivia footnote:

John Travolta sported the first male camel-toe for the longest period of time in any movie, ever.

Just one more reason, for me at least, to avoid it. Don't hate it, but definately wouldn't sit through another viewing in my life time.

Hey!  My mom and dad were extras in Urban Cowboy, and Gillies regulars.  A lot of the regulars at the time are in the movie, and Travolta actually lived on people's couches during the filming of that movie, spending time in Deer Park, Pasadena, and Channelview (where I grew up) to get a feel for the place.

However, he's a member of the cult of the clam, so I don't have too much for him either way.

LT, the people who ran around yelling "disco sucks" were the people who can't dance.  Otherwise, they would have been in the discos dancing.

For some of you, the 70's didn't suck, you're just pissed that you missed all the fun.  People certainly got along better back then.

For others, listening to disco is not mutually exclusive to Pink Floyd, Skynrd, the Stones, Grand Funk, etc.
