For whatever reason, Transgender Prom King thread inspired me to reconsider the class issue.

Gays have a right to take themselves out of their traditional gender role and create their own class, so why can't the same be done with race?

Why can't I define myself as "transracial", an individual that embraces the mindset, mannerisms, and features of the race I identify with.

Why can't I for instance, undergo surgery and alter my nose, lips, forehead, and buttocks in the mold of stereotypical African features, embrace predominantly black cultural mannerisms, and receive special minority status as a transracial individual, and be granted license to use "the word"?
