I'm on call for work, so I can't stray from my cell/ laptop and cell service. No shooting range trip, no movie theaters, no hiking, no nights at the bar. This will be fun.
It must suck to be in a job when you are on call 24/7. This is just one weekend. Oh and I'm stuck at work for another 90 minutes and then 6 hours tomorrow. Entertain me.

But my shift tomorrow is OT and any sales I pick up add to my commission, if it's a good weekend for that it could be worth a lot in that way. Orrr it could be a sleepless weekend with not much to show for it. |

I am on call this weekend as well, need to stay within the confines of cell range and internet access. I do not get any extra $$ for on call, just part of the job. However, if I mess up on call, I do get to be fired :-)

Yeah, I have already found out I have emergency work to do tonight at midnite. The bright side is I can work from home, the sad thing is I better not be drunk.

Our client base consists of pregnant women. So typically an on call phone call is because they're in labor at the hospital and need assistance.

im on call this weekend also. I will be laying in a field behind my ar10 and my bolt gun with my linc and cell right next to me. Hell I am even going to cut the grass. Im just going to give my wife my phones.
You can do stuff and still be on call  just not drink  I think I should get differential pay for that but i do not want them to think im an alcoholic lol

Of course just as I'm going to bed they call... and the VPN didn't work so I woke up my manager and got his username/ password.
