When I right click on a photo and choose "Set as Background" nothing happens. I'm running Windows XP.
WTF?

Try doing it the long way through the display window.

OK, I did it through the control panel, display, desktop route. I used to be able to right click on anything and do it. What gives?

The picture might not be the right type or there may be a block on a picture if it is on the internet.

Right click on desktop, click on properties

click on "desktop"

click on "customize desktop"

click on "web"

uncheck the box next to the current image file being used as background.

then select a new image file from your hard drive.
