Was at the indoor range one day. Person who I brought was shooting my .357 mag. I tried to scratch an itch on the side of my head and my earmuff opened for a second. Rung my bell for like half an hour.

I heat static, I get it in my headset but it seems to be there for a few minutes after I take it off.

One of my friends fired my CETME with muzzle break in an indoor range, while I was in the process of putting in my plugs. I though my ears were bleeding for a few seconds there. I was seriously worried I was gonna have major hearing damage in my right ear for about an hour or two afterwords. Scared the shit outta me. I feel fine now, but theres no doubt in my mind that some damage was done.

I fired my ported .454 at a bear and there was a cliff face about 50 feet to my left. I didn't think sound would bounce that hard from that far. My left ear rang for a day and a half, it literally felt like I got cupped on that side.(It's happened before, mean girlfriend). My right ear wasn't bothered at all. I'm still not sure it was the echo that messed me up, but I can't think of any other reason for the difference. I was shooting two handed and I am right eye dominant.
