As many of you are aware, we recently had a bit of a war with Iraq.  One of my good friends left to go (USMC Reserve) and today I decided to stop by and make sure his family was doing ok.  They live near my work and I wanted to see if they needed anything while he was away.

So I knocked and instead of his wife or daughter answering, he opened the door!

I almost fell on my ass in shock for a second, then I gave him hell for not calling me.  

He lost 10# over there, and 10# more over the last year...he's getting to be a pretty toned guy.  

His daughter was a delight to see (almost 2yrs).  She's going crazy now that dad is back.  

One more trip to Pendelton for demob and he's back until they call again.  

I am sad that we had to lose those we did, but relieved that so many came home who went.
