...Now? 1. ETA: Nice blaster Sheep |
I'd say you're the only one, then again I don't really know you. Let us know has she shoots.
I'm going to try it out today if I have time, this is my first day off in a week and I've got tons of stuff to do.
Now I know that these aren't desirable but I wonder how many of these were made and are left? |
You're right. Your the only one I know with a Dalphon receiver. And the only one I know with a .40 AR.
So I guess that makes it "double rare." Or is that "half as rare?" |
So is Scarlet Fever, but that doesn't mean I want it. j/k...congradulations. Why don't you tell us a little about this Dalphon rifle, why it would be desirable, when they were made, etc. |
why is your gun named after the Miami Dolphins? nice gun and clip!
The company who made them is out of business, the owner of said company is in Club Fed for reasons that I don't know. |
Uh. me? I'll post a pic tonight if you realllllly need it Congrats on the for-tay, wit beamz no-less, tho. |
sweet. |
Too bad I can't find any more Can't believe that no one has aked how much I paid for it $450 |
That's because we've all been told that we are to NEVER ADD IT UP!! Never add up how much you have in guns, ammo, accessories! You have a $450 rifle, next you'll need to hunt down and buy some mags (more money) and of course a gun without ammo is useless, so you'll need to buy ammo (more money) and you will probably want an optic or two (more money) then a different something (more money) and an extra something else (even more money). Dayamm.... pretty soon you're gonna have over a grand in your rifle!! |
and mags are (theoretically) how much? |
Actually I've already sold the lights/laser combo for $50, I've got 1K rounds of .40 here but I def. want more mags |
Don't know, I can't find any. At all. |
+1 You paid $450 for the mag and got the rifle for free. |
You might have to fab (or pay someone) to make some up. Maybe you can find a very similiar (dimensionally) mag and modify it. Nice weapon, remember to post its performance |
i would sell off the .40 bbl/bolt and 41ae mag and swith to 9mm
at least you could get mags for it |
That would be a good plan. IMHO |
If .45 ACP can fit in a (modified) Sten Mag I'll bet .40 will.
I bet you're right, I'll have to pick one up and try it. I'll be happy if I can get 2-3 more mags for it. ..and to add to the range report it fired SXT Rangers and FMJ Remingtons without hesitation! The 2 FTFs were both FMJs, 1 I fired off in my Glock and the other wouldn't fire at all. |
Thats FO-TAY....................... |
Ghetto is the only guy on arfcom professional enough to carry a .40 AR15. |
just so you know an uzi 9mm mag will work perfectly with .40 sw ammo just less fit in it
One, well now there is you, so two. Other than the relatively few that were made (from what I gather) what makes the Dalphon so desirable/collectible? |
It's not really collectible at all IMO, just something that there weren't very many made and the owner (now in Club Fed) gives it an intresting history. |
UZI mag is two position feed, this is a single position feed system. |
The last I "Heard" he got caught drilling holes in AR' Lowers (Holes that NORMALLY involve registering with 'ATF) but, that could just be a local rumor. I always thought he was a pretty nice guy (If a little "Weird") from my contact with him at the Oregon and Washington 'shows. His ol' Lady was pretty nice too but weird as well |
Go ahead and mark me down for a serial number between 280 and 290. That lets me know there are at least that many produced to include examples of what not to produce. Relatively low number if they didn't screw around with SN's to inflate their "worth". [whisper] No extra holes in mine [/whisper] |
We should start a Dalphon forum |
Member count: 2 Man, dues are gonna kill us |
WooT That reminds me that I need to update that thread as well |
I had 4 Dalphon lowers. I sold them all off in the last 6 months or so.
Happen to remember any of the serial numbers? Were any of them over 750? Trying to get an idea as to how many were made. |
Just between us girls......I have James Bond's Dalphon! I've had it out twice. Both times, I was very, very happy with its performance. And, it only has the regulation ventilation!
Nice rifle I think LARifleman has an AR in .40 as well. They are pretty sweet.
