A girl I was friends with had one... my thoughts:

The H2 is comfy as fuck.  There's a decent bit of room for storage as well. Underneath it's just a modified 2500HD platform, it shares 99% of components minus the electric diff. That makes parts cheap and plentiful. There's a decent bit of aftermarket for it as well.  The 6.0L pulls decently in it. Mileage is terrible. Upkeep is easy, the LS platform is stupid simple. The 4L80e 4spd auto is robust and handles quite a bit of abuse.

I would like to swap an H2 interior into the next Duramax I get, if I can't find a complete Escalade interior to do it with.

As for price, I have no idea.

You probably wouldn't get hurt to bad when you get tired of it and sell it 6 months down the road.
Probably pick it up for $12K out the door.

If it's what you want, go for it and have fun.
