There was a thread about that. No. No one needs to make a Walking Dead game. It's a linear based story that relies on shock and killing characters to drive the narrative forward. Do you want to know when half the cast dies by playing a video game? Do you want to turn it into a braindead sandbox game? Just re-title it zombie shooter game #6785. The only way it would work would be to make a game from Morgan's point of view and that would be both boring and a major let down considering the direction the comic has gone. It would just be a fast way to fuck up a great series and story. |

 Though I don't know if they can pull off the L4D type fun we'll see.

The only reason I got some interest in this one is that you start as a novice person that is scared and after killing 100 or so zombies you have more skill and talk shit . evolving with the game hopefully they work into it with other evolving skills as well who knows though. could be good, could be bad. I will try it at least. Free rome you don't have to follow a narrow path. alot good points to it

I thought it was good game play...until the exploding Zombie. Reminded me of the exploding Flood in Halo.

Too much story, characters, etc. Just give us a big open city filled with zombies to kill. Simple. |

my opinion = looks lame. i cannot get over the "electrified machete" and the countless other ridiculous weapons you can construct.
waaay too over the top for me. it would appeal to many more gamers if they hadn't gone nuts with the retarded weapon crap. copy of Left 4 Dead and Dead Rising 2, very unoriginal. |

They need to make a free roam, Call of Duty style Zombies only game. Multiple maps but once you are in them it's free roam and the zombies are endless but not impossible, I want to have fun for a while before it gets crazy. IMO, zombies is the only good thing to come from COD Bad Ops....
Dead Island looks fun too, hope they don't screw it up. MW3 is going to have a 'zombie' style game mode where it's not zombies but enemy attackers that keep coming and you get kill streaks and stuff, or something like that, can't wait for MW3

Dead Island has more in common with Borderlands. It's completely story driven and all about discovery. You also gain experience and level up like other RPG games. There's four player coop. It's not about running and gunning, those games are old hat, have been for a very long time.
