Awesome vehicle. Friend of mine has one. No AC so it is stored for the summer.

There is a guy in my building that drives one to work everyday, I haven't figured out who he is though. He has a jurry rigged AC (fan blowing through ice chest).

There is a dealership in CO that I think is pretty good.

Right On.  fortunately it doesn't get too hot here. Maybe 90-92 at most for like a total of a week throughout the year.  HAWAIIAN A/C  WINDOWS DOWN>

The Good:

Been around a long time
Much cheeper than Humvee
Smaller than Humvee
Climbs slightly better than Humvee
Looks cool
Many versions available from fire truck to tracked snowcat

The Bad:

65MPH
They tip
They break
The parts are expensive
The expensive parts are in Germany
The German 'tude is still in effect

Etc etc.

Are you sure you can own that in Hawaii?

It looks too militaristic.

How about a DaimlerChrysler Unimog?

That is one hell of a farm truck.

I think they are pretty cool rigs myself. I am planning on getting one to use for a "Ranch truck" in a couple of years. The "rag top" versions seem to be the most common. From what I have read, the heaters leave a lot to be desired, but there are aftermarket heaters available (not that you would need one where you are). Parts and qualified mechanics are another issue, byt there are actually quite a few Pinzgauer dealers here on the mainland. This place usually has a few in stock:
