Is that as bad as not seeing Red Dawn?

No, it's no big deal. If you want to be unprepared for the zombie invasion and don't mind being eaten alive by the living dead then it's no big deal at all.

Blasphemy!

Dawn of the Dead is the one with the crazy gun store guy sniping celebrity look-alike zombies from his roof top...right?

Please tell me that you just mean the remake. Surely you have seen the original. It is a great Zombie training film

some of us study the ways of the undead, in order to be better prepared to survive.

some of us are just food.

Both versions are very good they are by far the best of the Zombie movies. The blockbuster near me has both versions I suggest you rent both.
Link Posted: 8/17/2007 7:50:09 AM EDT
I like zombie flicks, but I figure I have zombie protection covered unless they are the crazy track star zombies.....

In that case I'll probably kill as many as I can and then eat a bullet.

But, but...I've seen Resident Evils, 28 days later! Different Zombies?

yep, the original Dawn of the dead zombies were slow and easy to shoot....modern zombies run at you fast as hell...

I can't find the original DOTD in any of the stores or on the internet. Dammit! DOTD '04 remake was horrible though. Fast moving zombies? It's just not right!

Original DOTD '78 was better than the '04.

Seeing both is considered both an education & a right of passage.
Link Posted: 8/17/2007 8:41:42 AM EDT
The original is a B movie classic. I highly recommend it.

Here you go

Zombie movies

No where near as good as Night of the Living Dead, which still holds up pretty well. You're not missing much. See the first Romero movie and bag the rest.

Best Buy is staffed by the living dead

'78 original is very good with a slight amount of cheese. I own it.

'04 is good and the quick zombies actually are a bit more disconcerting. I own it

The black guy who played the SWAT dude in the '78 version also plays a tv preacher in the '04 version.

To be honest, I thought DOTD '04 was even better than the original. Blasphemy, I know.

I thinking running zombies are just a whole lot freakin' scarier than slow ones.

Sighs in relief.

I haven't seen it either.

On the other hand...

The original and its sequels are required viewing. The remake of DOTD sucks ass through a straw.
Link Posted: 8/17/2007 10:26:44 AM EDT

Don't worry, you haven't missed much, its a stupid fucking movie.
