Hasn't it been 3.5 years since I first saw your pics? It didn't seem that long ago. i'm glad that you finally got the wedding/honeymoon paid off, or at least most of it.
Damn, $30,K..................Where the hell did you go on your Honeymoon?
hedo III= Hedonism 3? not my first pick of honeymoon spots, but whatever floats thine boat would be a wild time though |
Needs more cowbell. You think the wedding was expensive...wait till the divorce. |
I remember that pic! Too bad I missed the Hedo III pics though.
Are all you guys blind or what? All your guns have glass on them except for the second one (can't tell from angle) but the shooter is wearing glasses. Just messin, I wear specs myself. |
They're worth it though! |

30,000 included the essentials like dress, ring and tuxes.
Then we renovated the church where my wifes parents were married (It hadn't been used in years) and we flew the minister my wife knew from her childhood from his current home in Tenn. to Iowa where we were married. Basically I didn't care and would have been fine with a civil ceremony. But my wife had very specific wishes and I decided to make it happen. We also paid for a lot of plane tickets to and from Iowa and to and from Jamaica. And we paid for a few people who we wanted there but needed help financially. I paid for a LOT of miscellanious expenses before and after the wedding. Basically for the 2 weeks before and after the wedding and the 2 weeks of the honeymoon EVERYTHING went on 3 credit cards. It added up kinda fast. And all the groomsmen got Blackhawk fanny pack holsters. |
We had a blast. |

Not with as much as I've got invested dammit. |
It would have been cheaper (interest) to do a loan at the bank
Probably not. They were low interest cards and I doubt I could have gotten a bank loan for that much after recently buying my house. |
30K!! i sure how your honey moon involved buying class 3 weapons! Did all your friends bring guns or did you loan them out?
I dunno, but he has a Aim-Point Carbine behind him |
Ok...I'll be the first to mention it, but what is up with the black guys eyes?
Any kids yet??? |
Mirrored sunglasses. Damn, Steyr, it does NOT seem like 3.5 years... -Troy |

Hope you got your money's worth!!!!!
At least one guy's holding an AR15/M16. |
Yup, that was an event all right...and now she's all paid for.
Seems like just a short time ago we viewed those wedding pictures, the pre-ban ones. Time for the 2nd honeymoon yet? |
Check again, eagle eye. There are 2 ARs in that picture. But no AUGs.... go figure. LB |

The idea has come up. Damn I need another credit card. |
Well I figure I'm only gonna do it once. |
I spent $500 on my wedding.
Didn't get her a real ring till 4 years ago. Still married after 19 years too. SGatr15 |

Like I said civil ceremony would have been just fine with me. But my wife had a rather hard life and wanted to be married in the church her parents were married in and by the minister she knew as a kid. It was expensive but I decided it was worth it to me. |
HEy! None of 'em had a shotgun!
WTF kind of wedding doesn't even have a shotgun! I thought weddings involved shotguns! Hm..maybe only in trailerparks? I need to research this... ETA: Glad your debt is paid off..I'm still payin off guns I bought years ago.. |
Wow, you sure know how to piss money away. Both my wife and I look back on it and say what a waste it was. We wish we would have just went to a tropical place and flew our parents out with us, got married on the beach and finished out the vacation. Traditional wedding are wastes of money and are for the woman. If and when my wife and I have/adopt kids we will not pay for any part of a wedding but will offer them some cash to go elope on the beach somewhere nice. Think of what you could have bought for the $25k if you did it my way. S.O. |
2 things. 1. It made my wife happy and she in no way demanded any of it. 2. I was able to make it happen. When I dropped 24k on a HK21 she didn't say shit about it. I don't regret the money spent on either. When I'm on my deathbed I won't regret a nickle of it. |

$30k is a reasonable investment for your life time partner.
If fact, that's just the down payment. I've been married for 5 years and loved every min. of it. Glad that credit card monkey is off your back SteyrAUG. No go have some fun. |
No, $30k for a home down payment is a reasonable investment for your life partner. Paying $30K so a bunch of strangers have a good time is not. Hell, spending $30k on a car is a better investment, and we all know a car is not a good investment. But I hate weddings in general and despise going to them so I may be wrong person to comment. S.O. |

That was my Mother-in-Laws budget on our weeding, set by the FIL. Through some off budget items, she was able to meet it. Kinda like social security is off budget. TXL |
Only $30k? Why I was at a $50k Bar Mitzpah a year ago, and they payed cash. Talk about insanity, some people spend too much on their kids.
some wedding back in jersey are like that. Most of the time, their not spending money on the kids, their impressing others. txl |
Sliced cucumbers for moisture???? |
My wife and I certainly were NOT strangers. $30k wasn't a lot of money to do things the way 'we' decided we wanted to do them. I just spent nearly 4 years paying for it all, and as a FFL mind you, and I don't regret a penny spent. It made us both very happy to do things the way we did. Some things are simply worth the time, money and effort. |

Hell yeah. Much money as I've got sunk into this thing she ain't going anyplace. And for an even BIGGER commitment she is on the mortgage. I ain't gonna loose my equity dammit. |
