I'm 9 hours into a surveillance with no ending in sight. Single man unmarked units so no one to even talk to. ARFCOM on my smart phone is the only thing keeping me semi-sane. Oh God let it end........

Most miserable job, especially if you're in a semi-secure environment, middle class neighborhood, etc.

Are you in a surveillance unit that's cool, or sitting in a unmarked with dogdishes?

We're in the same boat. Problem is that we are on 'doper time'. I swear it amazes me that they can get anything done. The load was supposed to be here hours ago.....

I did it for 11 hours one day. Luckily, I was in an RV, so I had a place to "go". I feel for you, man!

A few hours is one thing, try sitting in a hole covered with camouflage for a week. Surveillance alone really bites though.
