I like hold my hand. Back in my big drinking and cookin out days with all the boys (and girls) that was one we got plastered and sung. Has a special place in my heart. That and Sublime was an every time thing.
Tellin yall I was a beast on that grill. If i made a dinner thread (or was a member here for that matter) with my "3 am I'm hungry bro" creation you guys would have been bowing down. |

 Saw a free Hootie concerty back in the day, it was OK.
ETA You could not walk into a bar in the mid 90's and not hear Hootie, it was unpossible. |

Hootie played every month back 89-90 at the Mad Monk in Wilmington here.....only saw them once or twice as I was in high school........
I like Darius Rucker's new stuff......he is talented! Good thread.

I liked them before I saw them in concert. "Hootie" was a worthless fucking drunk. By the second song he was slurring his words so bad you couldn't understand anything.

They've certainly got a few "fun" tunes ... but really ... there's very little musical talent in the band. Darius Rucker's vocals being the exception. |
