Images circulating on jihadist websites show Islamic State group terrorists executing gay men by throwing them off roof with large crowd watching. The Islamic State group currently ravaging Iraq and Syria has shocked the world again with its horrific execution videos – this time by allegedly throwing blindfolded men off a roof as punishment for their sexual orientation. Images of the execution surfaced two days ago on jihadist websites, and claimed the men were found "convicted" of homosexual acts. The group's radical interpretation of Islamic law, "engaging in homosexual activities" is a capital crime

But won't say how stupid Islam is, even when we have these guys tossing gay people off high rise buildings. Or saying you can't insult their religion because they'll kill you. You guys are being intolerant. ISIS does not represent Islam. You are being prejudiced, Muslim countries respect diversity and inclusiveness.
Oh wait.... Yemen: According to 1994 penal code, married men can be sentenced to death by stoning for homosexual intercourse. Unmarried men face whipping or one year in prison. However, when the Islamic laws were introduced to the system, amendments included primitive forms of punishments like whipping of up to 100 lashes and death by stoning. |

A caption on one of the photographs explains that the man had committed a crime of ‘the people of Lot’, meaning that he is alleged to have committed an act of sodomy, and was ‘thrown from a high place’ as punishment. A crowd gathered at the bottom of a tower block to witness the death of the two men accused of "engaging in homosexual activities" - a crime according to ISIS' strict interpretation of Sharia law. 
Heavily armed, balaclava clad Islamic State fighters read the judgement which said the man who was found guilty of being gay, should be thrown off the highest point in the city, which is believed to be somewhere in northern Iraq "The Islamic court in Wilayet al-Furat decided that a man who has practised sodomy must be thrown off the highest point in the city,' they said in a statement accompanying the images, adding that he would also be 'stoned to death.' |
