A couple of years ago headed to Dallas going through Tulsa that almost happened to us. Had we been one more lane to the right it would have been a bad day.

It actually missed every car and went into a bridge abutment. We looked across the median and saw a car missing the left front tire trying to pull off and stop.

I used to work at a toll booth many years ago. One day a mobile home was being pulled through and there was a car behind it and the driver was blowing the horn like a madman.

When I could finally see the car I saw why he was honking. A wheel had came off the mobile home and was embedded in the windshield of the car.

The mobile home guys pulled onto the shoulder and denied it was theirs until the cop who had showed up pointed out the missing wheel on the mobile home.
