I live in Ohio and you are right.
Ohio is not Florida!Ohio's laws are clear and the state Supreme Court is republican.
I live near Youngstown, Ohio which is heavily Democratic. Bush still got 37.5 % of the vote.
If the provisionals are at that level for Kerry (62.5%) there is no way Bush can lose.
Also, the news media isn't telling the whole story on provisionals. We have had them for at least ten years. If you are registered and move from one address to another in the SAME county you can cast a provisional ballot.
I expect Kerry to take the provisionals with 55% to 60% of the vote. To win, he needs about one MILLION provisionals. It isn't going to happen.
