I think that they will be wasting thier time, it doesn't look like they are going to be able to dig up enough votes to even get a good argument going.
I was worried about it, but being that Bush has won the vote thier, and there are not enough provisional ballots to change that if everydamn one of them are for Kerry, so let them beat thier gums and make asses of themselves, maybe the Ohio State Patrol will actually charge them any criminal acts they take. |

Ohio is much more squared away in their election process than Florida, they have clear standards and their boards are evenly manned by Dems and GOP members. Given the huge gap in votes between Bush and Kerry, its a pipe dream for Kerry even think of winning.

I live in Ohio and you are right. Ohio is not Florida! Ohio's laws are clear and the state Supreme Court is republican. I live near Youngstown, Ohio which is heavily Democratic. Bush still got 37.5 % of the vote. If the provisionals are at that level for Kerry (62.5%) there is no way Bush can lose. Also, the news media isn't telling the whole story on provisionals. We have had them for at least ten years. If you are registered and move from one address to another in the SAME county you can cast a provisional ballot. I expect Kerry to take the provisionals with 55% to 60% of the vote. To win, he needs about one MILLION provisionals. It isn't going to happen. |

Ohio only has 147,000 provisional votes. That is almost exactly the gap between Bush and Kerry, which means that IF all of the provisional ballots are valid AND all of them are for Kerry, it would be a close tie.
Bush is the winner. |
