I've been shot down on this before, but it behooves me to be shot down again. Today a large unmarked helicopter formation swung into Sky Harbor airport. Its obvious when vertilots fly in formation together that its not civilian, and the fact that they were grey, and unmarked defies FAA order, and other international aviation laws, it appears that our civilian transportation airport is being used as a military base with civilian flights used as cover. Daily flights of K10 refueling jets have been leaving since September from Sky Harbor. If the Gov wants our civilian airports to be safe, why do they risk them becoming military targets?

With the Grey the black seems subdued. How good of a look did you get at them? What kind were they? How many?

The K10 waves go in fours in the morning before 10 o'clock. They follow the normal 45 second departure schedule that Sky Harbor keeps on the south runway.

The vertilot's were a larger single prop with retractable landing gear, and side fuel pods. These doods flew in absolute unison much closer to the ground than they needed to. Keep in mind that Phoenix's airport is in the low center of a densely populated valley. They were unmarked. They flew so low that I could have seen a "step here" sticker on the side.
