GREAT!!!!!!!!
I have been happily married for 18 years(all to the same woman).  I have 3 great boys.  Oldest is 15, plays football(quarterback), basketball and runs track(fastest 800m in the city last year, didn't lose a race all year)for his high school.  My 2 younger sons are too young to play organized sports yet.  All are excellent students(must take after their mother).  As a family we do everything together.  Love to go camping, although it's become softer and easier with the purchase of a 30ft travel trailer.  My boys say as long as we continue to go camping they will continue to come along as long as they can, just by themselves, with friends or eventually their own families.  My dad took me camping and continues to accompany us(or us accompany him) on family trips.  I have never watched any of those shows so I have nothing to compare to.

Sure seems to have it's ups & downs...and not in the newlywed sense....

Closest I could come up with would be "The Rifleman". I'm a single dad, but with a daughter, not a son, but we both have lever action rifles [:)].
