?? I read the posts and realize it could take a few days, just wondered how I will know it's active?

Had the same question, but now I know. It's been a few weeks for me.
How long does it usually take?

Thanks for the 411. I paid using Paypal and I included my username in the payment details.

I'll keep waiting, there's no great rush or anything. Just kind of wanted to know.

What?  A few weeks?
Mine was paypal'd a few days ago.  Why should it take any time?  Instant fund transfer, no checks to clear etc.  Seriously, is it going to take that long?

I printed out the pay page, and mailed in a money order last week.

This site is great, and the staff are an asset to the American Fighting man.
82nd, I'm a NAVY vet myself. I have gained a lot of info and help from the site,
and was happy to contribute.

Where in the site do I find info on posting an avatar when my membership kicks in?

I'm not activated yet. When I click on the team link,
it won't let me in.

The stripogram will show up the day its activated to inform you.

Unfortunately, site policy dictates it will be a male stripogram.

Probably easier just to click on "profile" under "tools & services".  Your status is at the top.

Now, I need to come up with a cool avatar.
Maybe a Navy type. Suggestions on where
to find cool surface fleet pics?
