I get a ton of mail that is correctly addressed to my house, but it's for former tenants or even misaddressed to people who live on my street. One in particular is for a doctor who lives a couple of houses down from me. I collected it for awhile, wrote a nice note about changing the address, but it still keeps coming.

How do I make the USPS stop delivering it? Help please.

Thanks,
bd

I tried to be nice about it for 2 & 1/2 years, sending it back, writing no longer at this address, forwarding............ now everything that comes to my house that is not addressed to me or somebody within 200 feet of my house...........I throw it right in the trash.
