Can I take a picture of something and covert it to an illustration type artwork? If I had a picture of my house and I wanted to make it look like a hand drawn color picture how would I do it?

What exactly are you looking for?

Charcoal?
Pen and ink?
brushstroke?
Colored pencil?

Google Photoshop,'charcoal'(insert your preferred medium), and tutorial. You will be amazed at the number of free tutorials out there.
