Try ctrl, alt, delete all at the same time and then pick whatever application it shows it to be on the list and click it and hit end task. That should get rid of it.

click ctrl,alt &delete together. pick end task to clear program. THIS MIGHT cause your other programs to shut down also but you can just restart them again
