Gaming Club Crackdown
Los Angeles brawl results in city investigation
South Korea isn't the only country taking broadband gaming a bit too seriously. Gamers recently gathered in a Los Angeles broadband gaming club for a Counter-Strike match, but instead found themselves party to a massive brawl by competing team members. The uprising and others like it have pushed Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis Zine to investigate the problem. Zine is concerned that Internet cafes featuring violent games have become unsafe for the minors who frequent them and is considering pushing for age restrictions.
