It is a $5 part on amazon. What do you think a dealer would charge? Seems about as labor intensive as an oil change.

Depending on the vehicle it might be a trivial piece of cake or a somewhat bigger pain in the ass.

So, what car or truck?

I swapped out a set on a 2010 Chevy SUV in a gravel driveway in 15minutes with a pair of channel locks and a 9/16 wrench. I charged her $20. Didn't even have to jack it up.

This. Headlight bulbs are $20ish. Pulling the front fascia, inner fenders, and grill from my GMT900 GMC pickup is a time and labor suck. Yes, the book says to just the put new bulb in. Problems: the wiring harness is too short, and metal bars prevent normal-sized hands from doing the job. Per online discussions with techs, that's the common way they do it. That was a fun adventure right before embarking on a road trip. SWMBO got a little uneasy at seeing the front bits of my truck strewn about the driveway.
