The only real money in that pic is yellowish in color You take the yellow money and I'll take the green money and we call it even. |

Twenty of those stacks of (presumably) one hundred dollar bills. Those stacks look thicker than a stack of fifty bills. At fifty per stack there’s a hundred thousand. At a hundred per stack you are looking at two hundred thousand. Plus the gold. I guess those are one ounce bars.

Quoted: A lot less than the cash. Impossible. Gold is NOT worth less than fiat money? |

You could do that pic with less than $4000 in $100s and some gold spray paint.

I thought this was going to be the Edited...VA-gunnut with $17 picture
yeah I like the yellow in that picture. Look like 1 ounce gold bars, about $1370 each.
Looks like its worth about 10 kilos of Marching Powder depending on where in the US that pic is from.
The gold is in 1oz ingots. Top one in the packing says "Credit Suisse".
19 1oz gold bars is almost $20k, looks like 20 stacks of bills with 100 in each.
If the gold is real, and those are all real Ben's, just shy of $220k. |

Always a good idea to show everyone on the interweb that you have $200,000 in cash and $20,000+ in gold presumably laying around one's place of residence.
I'd think someone who was intelligent enough to earn that legitimately would also be intelligent enough to not take a dated photo and post it on the internet. |

Shop... seen a lot of photoshops in my day and I can tell by the pixels

There are a lot of stupid people out there with much more money than you or I will ever make. Money can be earned, but sometimes it just finds people. I know people that have that much, or more in their residence. Not in a paper bag, but sometimes in a shoebox. Usually in a small safe though. There are a lot of legitimate reasons though why you would not want to deposit that coin in the bank. However, the way the money got there is generally not legitimate as the reason to keep it outside a bank. Usually tax evasion. |
