How much dedicated cardiovascular exercise do you do a day? Running, walking, swimming, biking, aerobics, etc.

I am shooting for 40 minutes per day but man that is a big chunk of time between school and work.

I do 20 minutes or so 4-5 times/week.  It isn't much, but if I try to do more I end up getting bored, dreading it, and then not doing any at all.

I only get to do it about 3x per week but my usual routing is to bike 15-25 miles.

An hour every evening. It's not the exercise that takes a lot of time, it's the getting ready and the showering and all the other crap you need to do.

I run four times per week: MWFS. Distances vary, but usually 30-45mins each time. MWF are PT runs with my fellow Marines, but Saturdays are my personal KT runs, which are long runs up this really steep hill on base here.

I used to do 45 minutes of moderate cardio (stationary bike) 6 days a week.  I also lifted 3 days a week.  It was a bitch to put any lean body weight on at all, even if I ate a ton (it seemed to all go to fat).

I've dropped my cardio back to 45 minutes of biking or 30 minutes of running three days a week, along with the 3 days of lifting.  It's much easier to gain lean muscle mass now.

The reason I did it everyday in the begining was because it was easier to maintain the habit.  Now, I get pissed if I can't do cardio.

I'm doing 20-30 minutes 4-5 times a week.  If I run its usually around 20 min., If I do the elliptical machine its 30-40 min.   The weird part is that the E machine says I'm working harder but it sure feels harder to run.
