I live out where i can practice easily, only a 10 min. ride to the hills. so i go at least once a week,(4) during the summer as often as 3 times a week.(12). during the winter, about once a week.(4) sooo, how often do most of you get a chance to go out and shoot?

In general...
I practice with my rifles every other week (about 150-250 rounds per session).
I practice with handguns every other week (about 150-250 rounds per session).
I practice with my carry gun once per month (about 150-250 rounds per session) but I usually shoot some rounds with it each time I go out.
Also, I usually shoot in some type of competition twice per month (50-200 rounds per competition).

At a minimum (when work doesn't interfere) I shoot an IHMSA match (International Handgun Metallic Silhouette) on the second and fourth Sundays of the month.  If I'm lucky, I get in some practice on the previous Saturdays.  I also try to get to the range with a rifle or two on an off weekend.  So, at best I shoot five days a month, generally I shoot 2-3 times a month.

I leave it to your imagination as to what my house and yard look like.[BD]

Oh, and it's 35 miles to the range for me.[:(!]

Every weekend I shoot 100 rounds of .45 acp through my CCW carry gun (Springfield TRP) and 100 rounds of .223 through my Bushmaster shorty.
Once a month I shoot my shotguns, .22 plinkers, .44 mag and other toys I feel like bringing out.

NORMALLY Rotate Rifles one week and handguns the next. Normally fire 200 rounds for rifles (plural-total), 400 for handguns (plural-total).

Use 2 laser systems everyday in my house for practice before work (BeamHit 190 PMTS Computer module plugs into weapon, different distances, different targets, timed system....figured some may not have heard of it---

Not often enough! When I was still in the army and stationed at Ft Sill, every Saturday without fail I was at the range. The MSG on duty there thought I was nuts - pouring rain? I was out there in my poncho shooting my M1A. Snow, 30mph winds, and wind chills well below 0? I was out there shooting. 110+ in the summer? Same thing. Now I have a spot in the woods not even 4 miles away, with the longest distance being about 225m, and I don't even make time to go once a week [>(]

Once a week if I'm lucky.

I take about 200rnds with me to the range. And stay there for about 3 hrs (or more). I'm training to be the best damn squirrel sniper in the U.S. with my .22!
