Man what a collection!!! I have a M1A basic. I love that rifle. Finally started to reload for it last month. Tried 3 loads of Imr-4985 and 165 Seirra hps. The best was .25 center-to-center. Looks like that may well be my white tail load this years

ARMALITE FAN - you really need a graphic's editor to remove much of the background from your rifle collection [;)] but I'll bet feeding all those rifles keeps you from buying one.
There are a few .30's in here. An M1A, FAL and M1 Garand. I'm adding an M1 this week sometime. |

GoatBoy, You just gave me instant wood.
How much was the stock? Can it be put on a non-detachable mag. 700? BTW shaggy I hate you :D |
|
Goatboy where did you get that magazine for your AICS Remington 700? AI's website still says the 8 and 10 round mags are "coming soon", been saying that for months, I have the same setup and I only have the 5 round mag. Thanks.

Damn I'm tired... been slaving over the site all morning when I was going to chill today... yeah me!
ANYHOW!!! I go through: Stacey Blankenship Accuracy International DIST/REP Home: (252) 771-2557 Cell: (252) 202-8867 This guy is GREAT! He is a gun freak and one of the best people I have ever bought from. I'll probably pick up an AWP or AWM sometime this year and go through him again. He is passionate, intelligent, and knows his shit! He special ordered the mags for me and ended up giving me ones he had just gotten for himself to speed up the process. (I was excited to get shooting and he wanted to make sure I was happy!) I absolutely love the rifle and sleep with it under my pillow... (big pillow mind you!) -- GB |

Wow, what a nice collection you guys have. My Argie FN is my prize, but I sold a Federal Ordinance M-14 to finance this purchase, with no regrets. If I could have a few more, I'd like a FN Paratrooper model, flat-top AR-10 and a .308 bolt gun, with all of the fixins!

I had some nice pics of a Stoner SR25 Sporter that I recently sold, but the pics got reformatted along with the rest of my hard drive last week.

WADMAN....
Let's see more pics of the wood-stocked FAL. Looks beautiful! |
|
Waddie-
You heard the man, bust out that NEW digicam and show off the Ironwood. |
|
Kin,
Where's your other DSA? I thought you had a spare one. Also, is that Steyr 50.00 searcut? I didn't know any were imported with the Austrian straight stock. It's got the long Belgian style flashhider though. You like the Ironwood walnut stock set? It did come out beautifully. More pics shortly. Damn glare is making it difficult to see the grain. |

|
Those are some sweet rifles.
Hey Shaggy, Can I be in your will? Ice |
|
David -
Where's the pics of the Savage? I've been thinking about getting one (that and a garand, thank you very much...), but I was looking at the 110FP - how do you like the 12BVSS? What kind of accuracy is it capable of? |
|
Wadman, man you're good. How can you tell that the 50.00 without the humpback is searcut just from a little photo?
The guy I had bought it from changed all the furniture to DSA furniture so he would not scratch it up. I'm too lazy to put the original back on. The 50.00s are supposedly unfired. I will change that in a few weeks. HeHe! The other DSA is in the safe. It was getting too spread out so that I couldn't fit them all in one pic. I haven't had a chance to stain the Ironwood yet. Those para conversion kits for $500 are tempting me but I have no more money! I am also thinking about getting a Colt M4 upper as a future project. How do you like the collapsible stocks that you bought? |
|
You told me it was searcut by saying it was a Steyr 50.00. I got the 4 position version and it rocks. Very CQB looking with the short frontend. Get busy with the Tung oil already.

Sorry for the size.

AR-Rifle, I like that one too!!! A long barrelled para ALMOST like mine except it has a type II receiver. You even have a 30 round mag. Very cool.
edited to say: Aha! It's a Rogak G series import 50.64 with the alloy lower. Credit for info goes to DK of the FAL files forum. |

Hey GoatBoy and Duffypoo. So how do you guys like your AICS? I also have an AICS on my VSSF
.308. I sleep with my AICS 700 and AR10T under my pillow also. What size groups do you guys shoot with your rifles? |
|
greaper, I don't know how it shoots yet, got it two months ago and was gonna shoot it at the ar15 shoot in June but had too much fun rapid firing other toys to take aimed shots
I want to get a larger cap mag like the one goatboy has, the rifle just doesn't look mean enough without a box sticking out of it. It sure gets a lot of attention even from people that don't know AI AW series rifles, maybe because it's green and exotic looking. |
|
Shaggy -
The first time I shot the BVSS was at the event where we met, so it hasn't even been sighted in. I have a friend with one that shoots consistent 1/2 MOA @ 200 yards, which was what motivated me to get it. Pics and details can be found at http://www.savagearms.com/new/centerfire/long_range/lr_12bvss.htm David< |

Kin,
Hey bro, since you have two Styer Fals, send one over here and you can save some space in your safe for more ammo and accessories. Thanks! Coversix, no can do. I have determined that for every rifle you have, you need a duplicate. One to shoot and one to keep.
That's why I have 2 FAL 50, 2 DSA SA58s, 2 Colt 6520s. The only exception is my Colt SP1, the backup for it is the bushy. |
