I have already made my family aware that I want to be buried with one of my rifles.

I want it to be my ultimate "fuck you" to the gun grabbers.

Not married yet, but I don't carry when I'm drinking.

Colt Mustang Pocketlite, pocket holster, in the back pocket.

I see nothing wrong with him carrying at his wedding.

Most of us here subscribe to the philosophy of the RKBA and the responsibility of the individual to provide for their own protection.

I see no reason why that should not extend to a wedding ceremony.

My best man and I did. It was in Puerto Nuevo, Mexico and they had had a rash of robberies, murders and shootings of tourists in the months leading up to our wedding. The resort seemed pretty nice and safe, but outside the walls was sketchy.

I got married at the Fall, 2001 Knob Creek machine gun shoot.  Everyone was OC an NFA toy.

I wore a suit and didn't. Several of my friends were armed however. I was in good hands.
Link Posted: 12/19/2009 5:17:13 PM EDT
I only invited my friends so no need to carry....
Link Posted: 12/19/2009 5:17:43 PM EDT
I needed to have a few drinks before I said "I do."  I love my wife and would still do it all over again, but going from bachelor to newlywed required alcohol.  The wife and I then went to the bar and I drank until I couldn't see.

My carry piece was in our hotel room (G27 with an extra mag).  The next morning, we left Deadwood, SD, realizing that it was negative 20 outside, yet I was still happy.  :)

Both me and the wife unit, along with her old man, my best man, and most of the wedding party
And to anyone who doesn't like it, you can blow it out your posterior orifice

Sometimes in life it's the people you did NOT invite that you have to worry about.

Wasn't old enough.... but I probably would have otherwise...

I was only 19 at the time and didn't own a handgun but what I was toting could have punched holes in steel plate.

I wasn't carrying, but my wife's daddy was - had the damn shotgun pointed at me the whole time!

(Just kidding!).

Not married, never was!

But i did have JMB's most excellent design riding under the jacket at my friends wedding while being a groomsman, of course so did his brother the "ERT" cop. HEll we compared guns at the reception, got the groom away from the bride for a while so he could participate in the conversation about firearms.

Ya never know when some Belgian terrorist (who mistakenly believes you killed his wife) is going to kill his French captors, sneak across the pond, bust in on your reception and start blastin' away at the womenz...

Beretta 21, back pocket.

Not here.  Could have - but didn't see a need.

lol. I'm all for doing whatever you want, where ever you want, its just that bringing a weapon to the happiest day of your life seems a little . But then again why not

There's never an occasion that does not call for being prepared to defend yourself and the one's you love...

And yes, why not?

I tend to avoid carrying when I know I plan on drinking.

. Questioning why a man/woman carries is a no go, you don't do it.

The original purpose of groomsmen was to keep the groom from being kidnapped.

Pff, where is the I never got roped down option?

Not married, but I will if I should ever have a lapse of reason and decide to take the plunge.

I carried as my buddy's best man a few weeks ago, at his request. Interestingly enough, a rabid raccoon was shot behind the reception hall by one of the other groomsman.
