Drink 7/7
Party 0/7 Study 9/7 (I don't know where I found the time) |
|
|
I don't recall...so probably a lot.
Actually I studied pretty hard and stayed straight at Calvin and my last year at UW, but in-between, 1995, my first year at UW, is a blur. |

1st time: all of them.
2nd time: none of them. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I didn't party at all and my grades still sucked.
I've since made up for the partying though. |

5-6 depending on what was going on. Usually would study/do school crap during the day then stay out all night or get drunk and go to the driving range with some friends. The seventh day I would typically sleep all day and relax before another week of crazy immature bullshit
But then I decided to put a full time job in there somewhere and would only do the dumb drinking crap in the summer! |

White boy here, MD & surgeon.
Undergrad--not enough. ETA: I worked 2-3 nights a week to pay for undergrad--so it was tough to "party" & work--unless you're a US senator, then it's expected. Grad school--still not enough. Medical school--definitely not enough. Residency--5 years of post med school training--I hope you see the pattern Maybe on Fri or Sat night I'd have a drink or 2 with friends, but we weren't "party animals." I heard drinking kills brain cells, so I needed what few I had. BEERS TO YOU! |

Had work and class all week, hit it hard, thursday, friday and saturday. Recovered sunday, and did it all again.
|
|
Just about every night. Official going out nights were Thurs ( happy hour/bar) Friday and sat..other nights were get drunk with friends at various houses.

6 or 7
We would go out and shut down the bars in Athens, GA damn near every night of the week back in the 90s. Didn't hurt that my roommate was usually tending bar somewhere and kept my glass full "on the house" most nights. This was back in the late 80s/early 90s. If we weren't out drinking downtown, we were at someone's apartment getting wasted. Back in the day, I had an amazing ability to go out drinking until 2 a.m. and still be coherent for a 7:50 a.m. class. No way I could do that shit on a regular basis now. |

Like a Broadway show: every day and twice on Saturdays!
Playing for the university's rugby team adds a x1000 multiplier! Undergrad was the best seven years of my life! |

I saved my drinking for Friday and Saturday and sometimes Thursdays. I was actually trying to get in better shape, so no drinking everyday for me. But I went to college in Nevada, so bars never close and drinking only stopped when the sun came up. If there was a football game that Saturday, we took it easy on Friday and got up early in the morning to tailgate and didn't stop drinking till Sunday morning. And again, going to school in Nevada, they sell every kind of liquor at college games here.
My roommate took nine years to get his general studies degree because he really enjoyed drinking. |

Too many my freshman year and not enough my senior year.

First year and a half was 5-6 nights. The next 3 years, maybe averaged 1.5.

I partied pretty hard in my undergraduate. Several times I partied Monday to Saturday - only to sober up on Sunday afternoon.
I stayed clean during my graduate program, except graduation day. I probably killed half my brain with booze. Where am I again?
|
|
In undergrad? All of them.
In grad school? Maybe 20 times in 3 years. |

Currently a Senior majoring in Math and Economics. It varies, but too damned much

First 3 years it was 3-5 nights a weeks. Toned it down a little after that when I realized I didn't have to get the girls wasted to get end them naked.
B.S. in electrical engineer. |

A metric mother fucking shit ton more than anyone else in the Arizona State marching band who got a respectable GPA.
I graduated .03 below Summa. If I were not an alcoholic, I might have graduated Summa Cum Laude. However, I am in a PhD program that is a good fit for me, so I cannot complain too much. |
|
5 days a week....anymore or less you were doing it wrong.
Any less you were missing something, anymore you had no fucking clue how to party.....you wasn't going hard enough the first 5 days..... |

4.
Tuesday was 'Pint night' at the local bar, where you got the glass if you drank the pint. I have roughly eleventy pint glasses from this. Thursday was Karaoke. I don't sing well, but women do. And it was $2- 32oz Steins. And $1 Jäger shots. Friday and Saturday were, well... Friday and Saturday. ETA: I forgot about Sunday. It hardly counts, because you drink during the day while watching football, and thus are sober when you go to bed. |

I always wonder this when I visit the doctor. I never want the white Dr., only the asians When I went to school, there were two types of engineering students. Those who drank heavily to handle the stress of Engineering school. Those who studied a lot to hand Engineering school. I was the former. |

If I sit here and think enough, I'll be able to tell you the 5-night bar rotation in Gainesville in 1990
CJ's on Tuesday's is easy... nickel beer night was legendary Pros stayed at home on Friday and Saturday nights |
|
I hit the bars every night. It was just a social habit. Hook up with some friends. Drink a few beers. Shoot some pool. Talk to girls. Thursday nights was the big party night, since a lot of the students went home for the weekend. Maybe getting drunk every 2-3 weeks. I drank a lot heavier, and more often when I was in the USMC, than I did in college.

Tuesday - $2 martini nite( lots if girls out$
Wed- nickel nite Thursday because school of business had no class Friday Friday was always quite Saturday rage out So 4/7 |
|
Hardly ever. I was focused like a laser on getting my degree(s), finishing school, and starting my career. I had nothing but contempt for the frat boys who were partying all the time, mostly at their parents' expense.
