Callout thread?
<------ avid prairie dog shooter. Currently 4 rifles that are high mileage. Rem 700 243 over 3000rd down the tube  Rem 700 22-250 just plain lost count  & two ARs. Red Ryder has in excess of 10,000 rd through it. Still hit minute of prairie dog at 200yds.  DPMS Extreme Super Heavy. 10,000+  It still shoots good enough to take first, second and third by three different left hand shooters at a match in 2014.  Others that don't get punished so badly. I typically take 12,000 rounds each trip. |

I don't need to shoot out barrels to know a thing or two about guns. I can't afford to shoot that much, have no shame in saying that. I've put a few thousand rounds through Glocks if I had to guess.. Few thousand of .223 and .308 in my lifetime, but nothing to burn out a barrel....

Funny stuff here today. It would be pretty tough to exceed the threshold of a full auto component while firing semi auto, unless you lube it with sand. I think that I could shoot my whole life and not wear out an AR barrel while shooting semi auto.
