Poll coming.

I'm still undecided. Living in South Carolina, I ***MAY*** have the luxury of sending a protest vote to George Bush.

NO WAY I'm voting for Kerry. Maybe Bush, but very possibly Constitution Party.

I have never been able to understand the mindset that allows a person to be undecided in an election. In every election that I have ever voted in I know as soon as the candidates are announced who I will be voting for in primaries, and I sure as hell know that I will vote party line in the general. Who are these people? How can you not know what it is you want from elected officials?

I'm undecided as to whether to stomp a hippie commy befor I vote Bush...or after.

Maybe both...still not sure.
Link Posted: 8/24/2004 5:42:14 AM EST
I am only voting for Bush, because he can lead us to victory over the terrorists where as Kerry cannot. Don't confuse that for support. I think Bush has betrayed me on every other issue, maybe with the exception of taxes (I'll decide that one when I find out whether or not I have to pay the alternative minimum tax next year).

I know from his lack of veto that he is not the man to make it happen for me, but in reality a vote for anybody but Bush is a vote for kerry. Bush has done the war mostly right, and kerry will fuck everything up. That is the most important issue right now.

I agree. If it were not for the war, then I would be voting 3rd party.

I would never under any circumstances consider voting for a Democrat.

Voting third party in presidential elections is about the dumbest thing that you can do with your vote. It will be a very long time before we ever see a President who in not a Republican or a dem. Given the choice I think we can all agree that a Republican is better. Don't help the dems by voting third party.

If you want to send a message do it on local or state levels. That is where third parties could win. If you don't think that Federal officials pay attention to what is happening on the local level you are wrong. I would bet money that any senator or congressman who notices that his constituents are voting in conservative people at the local level will start to change his tone accordingly.

In PA, I do not have this luxury for the presidential election. Go Bush.

For Senate, I have my choice of a way-leftie upstart congresscreature (Joe Hoeffel, who was/is my congressman ), or an almost-as-way-leftie RINO who will probably be a lame duck after this election and therefore free to do as he pleases (Arlen Specter). Third party may be my only option for Senate.

Good job Gman. There is no vote that is thrown away. Here in Texas, all the elctoral votes will be for Bush. Therefore anything I do will have NO benefit or loss exept to poke the bean counters in the eye. I also told Rikwriter that because of republicans like him, that I could not support their party. So scratch one up for Kerry. Lying, back-stabbing, worthless, gold-digging , traitorous, ugly, stupid, John frikken Kerry. Ya hear that GW? You better get your shit straight and try to be a real republican instead of a socialist.

Why rik, didn't I tell you that? I was thinking about that yesterday, when GW said he was tired of all the shit in the commercials. you let one guy from the INTERNET supposedly influence your vote? wow....i hope you do not own any guns.

Naah... g-man just leads you on by chiming in with the latest and greatest GOP campfire song, pretending to be a hardore right wing Republican... and then fucks you over in the end with his no vote - which may as well be a vote for Kerry.

At least I will indeed vote for GWB despite my vocal protests of the things his administration has perpetrated.... including being soft on Mexican borders because his nephew is a rep in Mexico. Never once have I stated anything contrary to the fact that I will be voting for GWB.
Link Posted: 8/24/2004 6:28:31 AM EST
I'm still undecided. I could send a protest vote If I want because my state will definately be going to Kerry.

But my vote is based 100% on the sunset of the AWB. If it sunsets, I vote Bush, if it is renewed, I don't.

I dont agree with Bush on everything but if we gain back some freedom under his administration he deserves my vote

The Republicans could care less about your one vote or the way you feel. Heck they have more important things to worry than coddling one person.

There are other groups in the election that care even less than the Republicans so you are screwed!

I would like to hear SPECIFICALY from those people who won't vote for Bush.

Saying he is "socialist" or is an "idiot" etc. defies reason. What SPECIFICALY makes him a socialist, or an idiot. Give us a specific thing that he has done or not done that would cause you to not support him?

Mexico has already been mentioned.
Airport security is another. We have recently found out that screeners are told not to interview more than two arabs.
Billions of dollars in aid for ....every goddamn worthless piece of crap on earth.
Stance on guns.
Billions of dollars to Saudi Arabia.
Osama Bin Laden
Letting the 9/11 commision be the end-all on that situation

And Rik, I asked for an example.

Its unfortunate, but if Bush did otherwise the Dems would ahve a freakin cow over it. Pick the hill you want to die on. The war on terror is larger than airport screening.

Billions of dollars in aid for ....every goddamn worthless piece of crap on earth.

Preceeds Bush. Something that can't be fixed overnite. Not that he shouldn't try, but you can't blame him for ALL of it

Stance on guns.

Killed AWB renewal efforts. Grade: A-

Billions of dollars to Saudi Arabia.

We need oil. Necessary evil.

Osama Bin Laden

YOu seriously blame Bush for bin laden?? Ridiculous.

Gman,
Mexico, why are you puzzled? Vicente is pumping people across the border and getting money in return. Social security is being paid to mexicans

I do not ever want to hear, what the dems would do in a situation. Over 3,000 people have already died on that altar. That was enough. The people would re-elect GW in a landslide if he closed the borders and got all of the illegals out of the country.

Aid. I think he should do something and he is sending billions to Africa.

Stance on guns is NOT constitutional

We can get oil elsewhere.

OGL...find him kill him. simple. I don't blame him for putting a slime ball on our payroll for years. And then fighting with the Muslims against the christians in Bosnia. That was someone else.

No you DO NOT know that.

He KILLED AWB renewal this year. That's the fact.

You refuse to give him credit for that, and LEAP AHEAD to next year to blame him for things that (1) have not happened, and (2) he's already shown he will NOT ALLOW to happen.

That makes you look like you got nothing but hate.

If that happens, I'll vote 3rd party for President.
