I used to know this and I was taking count of my silver stash today and drew a blank.  Websites give me weird conversion tables with weight and copper prices added in.  I just want to know, roughly, how many equal as close to an ounce as I can get using the denomination?  Thanks in advance.

OK,I can;t figure out that page, and it appears to be about silver dollars regardless.  Please assume(quite accurately) that I am retarded when it comes to this and tell me:

(3) 90% silver half dollars equals roughly one ounce of silver  or something close to that.

Unbelievable how much silver has went up.

I'm so glad I keep every single silver coin I've ever found over 15 years with my metal detector.

If I remember correctly, $1.40 of face value (1964 and earlier 90% coins) = approx. 1 oz of silver.
