I want to  make sure I'm home to get it. If it was sent at 9-10AM today from NE Ohio, how long do you figure it will take to get to SW Ohio?

I just sent another member a Priority package from Florida to California. It got there in 2 days. Surely in-state should only take 1-2.

Oh damn... so it could get here tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up. Not like I really needed an excuse to take a vacation day

USPS does not guarantee a delivery date for priority mail. My USPS CPU computer always says CT to CT is a day.

That's not always the case.

Really when I send things in Michigan, it makes no difference between first class or Priority mail. Save the money next time. YMMV

But it almost always is if you mail it from an actual post office. I've mailed stuff from up to 4 hours away, and it made it overnight. If it can't make it CT to CT overnight, then was an issue in the pick-up delivery times where someone missed a time cut-off.

Should be next day, I just received a priority mail package here in Iowa on Thursday that was mailed from California on Tuesday.

I have had packages take THREE days sent USPS priority when sent from anothe rlocation in Texas, which is crazy.

However, Texas is a bit larger than you small states.

If I had ordered this bipod from Botach, I would be planning on installing it on my laser rifle when it comes in sometime mid 2093. Unfortunately when it arrived it would be a pair of boots from someone else's order.

It recently took a week to get from one zip to the next zip over in the same city. Yes, a week.

If you have the tracking info the site now tells you an estimated delivery date.

It honestly depends on if you are near a large hub or not. I can ship something to anywhere in the country and it will usually only take 2 days, thats because I'm 1 hour away from Philly where they fly their packages out of. If you are several hours away from such a hub it may take a day just to get to the nearest hub.

The one good thing with USPS, is that packages are generally moving 24/7, all night and on weekends, unlike UPS.

I have been told by 3 different USPS workers:

You should only ship "Priority Mail" if you can picture a plane flying to that state, if not it will be delivered on the ground.

Same state = Parcel

Out of state = Priority

I can attest that over many years of shipping items, Priority Mail from Nashville to ATL gets there the same time as Parcel.

I once paid for priority mail and it took 8 days to go from IN to MD.  Never again for me.

I usually send/receive Priority Mail the next day.

I just had a Surefire M951 Kit take 11 days from TN via Priority Mail, thought I was stolen enroute.

This.  Most likely one day.  Even snail mail gets to the destination the same day here in NM from my experience.

What the hell did you order that you would take a day off for?  Mail order bride, some "herbs" that you don't want sitting out all day?????

A bipod. I don't like packages being left on the porch. And I also like not going to work. So really, it's a win/win for me.
