Some polls have Obama leading Perry by as much as 20 points and though I don't believe that, I don't understand how the numbers arent reversed?

Are the American people going to be that stupid again?

The kept re-electing FDR during a depression so I guess it figures.

Most Americans have NO idea who Rick Perry is. I hate to break it to everyone,but we live in an incredibly,incredibly stupid society.The last time Obama visited the island,I was fucking with 2 of the summer special officers since they didn't recognize their governor when he came over to say hello. They have to look at his picture every day they enter the station which is the part that cracked me up the most. They're didn't know who either of their senators was - although one got zombie Ted Kennedy right

- or their congressman.

These are college graduates who had to take civics classes in both high school and university and they don't have a fucking clue. Now just how much do you think the "UN"educated voter is aware? The main reason I don't discuss politics with people in the daily life is them not understanding how government even works.One woman I know who is the biggest Obama supporter around STILL doesn't understand why Obama doesn't make new laws himself other than the evil R Congress won't let him

Perry is not the most recognizable name in America. If he becomes more known through the primaries, that gap will change.

What matters is if the American public hates Obama, and they do. His polling numbers have dropped off a cliff as of late, and if he doesn't recover, there is no way he wins.

Do you think polls on the net are even remotely truthful anymore?

We have seen blatant number falsifying on polls, based off of numbers posted by members that never changed. Why even bother paying attention to them any longer as they don't mean shit but which direction that particular outlet wants things to lean (so they rig the poll).
