He says that he will get rid of gun free zones when he is president but, is it "No gun free zones except for my property, those will still be gun free zones."?

At this point either vote for Trump or let a old crazy socialist run the country, it is your choice.

It is Hillary and Trump has a small chance to beat her. Small. That is it. Cruz or Rubio have ZERO chance vs Hillary.
So there is your real choice. Do you distrust Hillary or Donald more ? |

I don't care if he killed JFK.
I like him. I'm voting for him. Rubio can go to hell. |

This thread is based on bullshit, you had to pull up a news article from August 2015 to bash Trump.
All you Trump haters saying he will lose to Hillary are flat out wrong. There is massive hate towards Trump by every other candidate, yet Trump is dominating every election. Why? Because he knows how to run a business and a campaign. He knows how to get free publicity and keep his name in the news. He also learns from his mistakes and fixes any problems. In Iowa he learned the hard way that in addition to his presence in the state he need lots of people on the ground. He has since correct that mistake and has people on the ground everywhere getting locals involved. Trump is the only one who appeals to those in the middle because he doesn't push religious and social issues. He focuses only on operating the government to make the country great, not to control what people do (other than the whole Apple thing which I hope he sees the light on). One group that Trump can reach that the other Republicans can't is the gays who make up about 10% of the population. You don't have to like them but they still vote. They will not vote for Cruz with his anti-gay agenda but they will vote for Trump because he doesn't have an anti-gay agenda. Add up all the social issues that the other Republicans are trying to force on people, if Trump gets 1% here and 1% there he ends up with a huge lead. Trump is also the only candidate that has some people in Hollywood expressing their support for. In my view Trump is the only one that can beat Hillary because he is the only one that is not offensive to some of the people who would normally vote for Hillary. No other Republican candidate can reach those people. |

Donald Trump on Universal Healthcare: “Everybody’s got to be covered, this is an un-Republican thing I’m going to say, I’m going to take care of everybody.” When asked, ‘Who pays for it?’ Trump flatly replied, “the government’s going to pay for it.” — CBS, “60 Minutes,” 9/27/2015 2. Donald Trump on taxing the rich: “Well, basically, this would be a one-time tax, 14.25 percent against people with a net worth of over 10 million […] It would pay off in its entirety the national debt of $5.7 trillion, and you’d save $200 billion a year. So taxes for the middle class would go way down, the estate and inheritance tax totally wiped out, and the Social Security system would be saved.” — NBC, “Good Morning America,” 11/10/1999 3. Donald Trump on whether he’s a Democrat or a Republican: “In many cases, I probably identify more as Democrat.” — CNN, “The Situation Room,” 3/21/2004 4. Donald Trump on guns and background checks: “I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I also support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun. With today’s internet technology we should be able to tell within 72 hours if a potential gun owner has a record.” — Donald Trump, “The America We Deserve,” 2000 5. Donald Trump on quitting the GOP: “I really believe Republicans are just too crazy […] I mean, hey, I lived in New York City, Manhattan all my life, okay? He really stepped into a mess, Greta [Van Susteren]. Fox News, 2/9/2009 10. Donald Trump on the Democrats’ economic policies: “It just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats than the Republicans. Now, it shouldn’t be that way. But if you go back, I mean it just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats. …But certainly we had some very good economies under Democrats, as well as Republicans. But we’ve had some pretty bad disasters under the Republicans.” — CNN, “The Situation Room,” 3/21/2004 11. Donald Trump on immigration and the DREAM Act: “For people that have been here for years, that have been hard workers, have good jobs, are supporting a family, it’s very, very tough to just say ‘you have to leave, get out.’ How do you throw someone out that’s lived in this country for 20 years, you just can’t throw everybody out.” 12..In 2012, as Obama was running for re-election, Trump called Clinton “terrific” again in an interview with Fox News, saying she performed well as Secretary of State. “Hillary Clinton I think is a terrific woman,” he told Greta Van Susteren. “I am biased because I have known her for years. I live in New York. She lives in New York. I really like her and her husband both a lot. I think she really works hard. And I think, again, she’s given an agenda, it is not all of her, but I think she really works hard and I think she does a good job. I like her. But of course Trump is an honest man. The source for the article is a group called "think progress". Somehow I doubt their honesty right off the bat. Trump may or may not have personal input on whether you can carry a gun at a hotel he owns in Baltimore or Chicago but that seems like a decision the local manager would make not the billionaire CEO. And there is a difference between a private establishment barring weapons from their property and a Federal law prohibiting it.
