i tried windows paint, it just cuts the images down to 80x60 to the left corner,

only thing left is the top left corner..... no picture, no content, just the top left corner.....

Any program that will allow you to resize images will do just fine. Take your pick. If you want to use your newly created avatar here on ar15.com, you'll have to cough up a few bucks for a team membership.

Try this:

Make the horizontal and vertical strech 50%. Watch what happens.

Its simple find out your starting resolution, do some math and end up with the proper percentage to get it to 80x60...

Jesus, did you ever take any algebra at all?

er sorry for the harshness. I'm tired.

If picture is 200x100 pixels do this:

divide 80 by 200. and divide 60 by 100.

the results are the percentages of stretch you need to input.

I assume you're using Windows XP. From the Windows Explorer, right click on the original image and select properties. Click on the summary tab. Click advanced. Note the width and heght.

While trial and error works, some simple algebra is better.
