I have a large or small hole preban lower?
Pardon my ignorance, but I have a complete Essential Arms preban model J-15 i'm selling. A guy emailed me asking if it is a large or small hole receiver, how do I tell?
Only Colt should have the large hole difference that I am aware of.
If the pivot pin is the same size as the take down pin then you have a mil-spec lower or small pin if you wish to call it that.

Small hole
Just about every other receiver except some Colt models is a small hole.
I know as soon as I post this, someone is going to wax my ass with AR trivia, but trust me the EA is a small hole
