Hey all I have a Kodak Easyshare Z730 digital cammera. I Dont know alot about cammeras and would like to know how to post pics here on AR15.com. I read the owners manuel and cant figure out how to do it. I also went to the cammera section here as well. Can someone please explain it to me. I already have all of the pictures on the cammers on my computer via the software that came with the cammera.

Upload the pic from your computer to a picture hosting site like www.tinypic.com/

Then click on the picture icon on the reply page and type in the url from the hosting site.

You know how to transfer the pics from the camera to your computer right?

Once you get past that step you would find a photo hosting site like tinypic.com or photobucket.com and make an account there. Once you have the account you will be given the option to upload the picture, if you remember where you put it. I have a dedicated picture folder on my desktop with multiple sub-folders to keep track of my pics.

Once the picture is uploaded it should give you info under the picture with its URL, and tags for HTML and posting on forums. It will look like this

then you can copy and paste from the url box and put it here like this

<img>your photos url here</img>

replace [ for < and ] for >

or you can just copy and past the entire box that is next to IMG

EDIT:

Hotlinks work the same way here is a link to photobucket.com and if you quote this post you will see what it should look like when you do it

photobucket.com/

you can also get fancy

and have the link to photobucket say whatever you want in the text
