I will have the following pieces: a) 20" Upper (with Bolt Assy) b) Buttstock (with Buffer Tube) c) Pistol Grip * From an R6551 (No Bayonet Lug) Can I get "any" POST-BAN lower and construct a Legal POST-BAN (With Pistol Grip & Magazine Well)? (One of these days I'm hoping to get a Z-M conversion, and want the have the "left-overs" usable in another rifle). Thanks

build it, just remember---NO BAYONET LUG, NO THREADS, and NO COLLAPSING STOCK, NO GRENADE LAUNCHER. Other than that, NO problem.

Not too bad for indoor range plinking. It's not very accurate without a .22 upper, which will cost you around 500 bucks. If you want a semiauto .22 go with a 10/22. For the price of an AR .22 upper you can get 2 10/22's or one "with alotta toys."

What kind of .22 Uppers are available? I was looking into Victor Arms, but they are now defunct.....
