A decade ago there were some old black powder cartridge Spanish revolvers on the market for about $25 each. Totally unsuited for modern ammo.

However, the Spaniards made fine weapons for generations. Don't discount a Start, Llama or Astra without research.

I almost bought an Astra Terminator (snub nose .44 Mag.) It was a nice gun, but the price was too high. I looked at an Astra .357 at one point. I didn't really want (a less than .44) at that time so I passed on it- but the action and trigger were surprisingly nice, as was the finish.
