back when the site changed over from having User name, screen name and password to just screen name and password... there was a window of time when we could get our names changed.
I considered it. I only have this long screen name because I had a short user name and didn't need to type in this long thing. But I never got around to it and don't really want to change it now. I suppose you could start a new account and tell someone you won't be using your old account anymore... that might work. |

Back in the old EE feedback system, I understand why you had to have a pretty good reason to change your username. Changing from say, Subnet_Mask to Dusty_C would mean you could deal like a jerk on the EE and then get out of it.
The new feedback system might be able to transfer your feedback when you change, but only one goat knows. |

I had a user name that was three years old, had about 400-500 posts. Posted a Scat pic, got my ass locked, had no idea (noob doesn't bother checking forum rules), so started over, and let the other one go.
So if you do not care about post count, start over....
