I plan to buy a Tokyo Mauri XM177 spring action airsoft gun. I thought that it would be fun to have an AR15 lookalike that I did not have to always lock up. I thought that it may be a good choice to start my kids on learning how to handle a firearm and since it shoots plastic BBs, I can shoot in my backyard.

Can people who used them let me know how you liked them. Can they shoot paintballs instead of plastic bbs? I really like the full auto electric ones but feel that since I am using it to teach my kids, a single action one would be safer.
