What do you think of yourself?
Book smart? Street smart? Trivia smart? Practical smart? History smart? Uninformed or knowledgable? |
I consider myself to be just a regular guy, but I have tested very high on IQ and various other tests. I could really care less about tests though.
I read 4 to six books a day. I have never had to study for anything ever. I am really smart with trivia and book stuff. I am exceptionally good with history, military tactics, military knowledge, political science, sex knowledge, and weapons knowledge. I am good with these subjects because that is what I have been studying since I was 5 y/o. However I am a dumbass when it comes to cooking, car knowledge and home repairs.
m-dc, the trick is to be average. Always average. Never stick out.
I'm good at solving problems, synthesis, and reverse engineering.
As immodest as it sounds, all of the above. |
Depends, as a kid I was rather smart, I was given the chance to skip two grades. As an adult, I am an idiot because I was afraid to skip the grades and ended up having to drop out and get a GED still passed my ged with a 98% in under 45 minutes
Reason for drop out, came back to HS from colorado and the school I went to refused to transfer 11 credits my junior year from my old HS. They pretty much said I could spend two more years at school or do a shit load of night school etc, I said fuck it I am not repeating what I have already done. And I am fine today at least that is what I tell myself. So yeah I am average but could have been a lot more. |
I believe I'm average. People I work with, or know really well, think I am above average.
I know lots of people smarter than me, but this place lets me see there are lots of stupid people too. |
Man come on kick a guy while hes down why don't you |
I know there is more I dont know than what I know.
I married a smart women for a reason. I need the help. I consider myself very close to stupid. I find it helps in keeping me out of trouble. |
I have always been good at school. I always have a 4.0 GPA or close to it. I am also good with History, as well as Geography. I am very good at reading maps and navigating. Despite most of my knowledge is in academic areas, I am still fairly street smart and have good common sense. I love science, especially Physics and Astronomy, however I HATE higher level math like Calculus, but I dont mind intermediate and some advanced algebra. Economics and business are my main area of knowledge, and I am very good at it.

So what you are saying is being a hottie has its benefits in life? |
Actually I was doing the whole "sarcasm" thing on that belief... And I failed miserably... Sh*t...not smart, AND humor impaired...thank God I have breasts and straight teeth! |

WHA? |

They would really be stupid if they picked "stoopid" wouldn't they? I would be curious to see a poll on how many have 8" or longer "Tools" on here also! BigDozer66 |
Yup. That was the point of the poll. |
telling, yet predictable |

I read a book once; you'd be amazed how many words are in one of those things.
If brains were like oatmeal, then I'd have toast and big glass of orange juice.
I kept a 4.0 during high school and college, but that doesn't necessarily make me smart; that's booksmarts, because I'm a fast learner and a decent writer.
I am lacking in street smarts. I hope I'm one of those people who get smarter with age. ETA: But I'm a great partner in Trivial Pursuit. |
kind of funny that almost everyone voted above average or genius, that would make us all average, idiots.
Hah! I've got you beat. High School Valedictorian and graduating college in 2 years. But what does any of that have to do with being smart? More to do with being a slave IMO. |
I'm smart with regards to my job. The rest of my intelligence flies out the window more and more each day. I have no technical smarts whatsoever, and I say stupid stuff all the time.
But I'm cute, and I have big boobs. |
In most cases in the real world, that will get you farther than my advanced degrees... |

We will need some |
