Why do you need 30 when the buy it now is 25k?  Full auto with 15rd mags would be lame.

You and me both bro but those suckers are expensive to feed!

Also as far as the m16 the extra 5 grand would cover the transfer & a shit ton of ammo.

That dealer must have a good connect with his examiner.

The gun is being brokered by Frank.  Notice the disclaimer about "from our customers inventory"  So he is probably quoting the transfer time to the FFL/SOT dealer of your choice, not the F4 transfer to you.

I still think he is a bit optimistic on his timeline for a civilian (assuming the current owner isnt a dealer) to SOT dealer transfer but then again I had a MG go on a tax paid Form 4 (civilian) to my dealer about 6 months ago that took right at 6 weeks.  Granted I have been waiting about 5 months for the F4 from my dealer to me, ever since then.

All that said he is probably being a bit disingenuous about the total timeframe...i.e. once you wait "8 weeks" for it to get to your dealer you are in store for another 6 to 7 month wait before you take it home.

That M16 is most likley not all original. Based on the A2 fH and anti walk pins, I would bet it was turned into a FA M4 type rifle. Then pieced back to near original by someone recently. Just  MHO

And to the poster up above who thinks 200 will buy a stamp to make a rifle FA? 1985 called and wants its laws back!

I wouldn't pay more than $15K for that rifle, but what do I know?

I wouldnt buy that one unless you want to continue it's life as an unfired safe queen.  Once you pull the trigger and make it "unfired" it becomes a 45K to 50K gun at best assuming it is a  factory SACO/Maremont receiver.

RIA converted E4s can still be had in the upper 30s to low 40s.  My RIA E4 runs and runs and runs.  No real need to pay $75K for a M60E4 unless you really just want it as an investment or safe queen you never shoot.

That is the advice I was given by a friend who knows about that stuff as well! That is my hesitation...yea great investment for sure...but if I'm gonna spend the money for full auto then I wanna shoot it haha! But thanks for the advice!
