Only my 2nd Dinner Pic....First was a long time ago....Been gone awhile....

The Story,

Leppy Bull calf(Mom died during birth), Grafted him to another momma cow to save a calf.  Always kinda looked after him after that....

Well Homer went the ways of most bull calves, became a Steer....

He ate, he grew, he ran through some fences....
Then one day he got to ride in a big cattle truck...Out of the pastures and deserts that he was used to....He got to go to a feedlot....
Lots of other steers there....

He ate, he grew some more....

I got a call the other day, went and picked up Homer....

(simple ingredients)

(Cast iron getting warm)

(getting ready for the "flop")

Homer is all BLACK AND BLUE now....I still like the little guy....
(Melted Bleu Cheese, Blackened on the outside)

Sold the EBRs some time back....
Will have to do with my "Cowboy M4" 16iner

Was out of Bacon or he might have got wrapped....

Can't give you a score because there is no AR in your life....however, you would get a theoretical 20 out of 10 for raising your own meat.

Real men don't cry when they eat their steak.  Keep your chin up and remember the good times.

Rotten goat cheese is not a steak topping.

Good beef requires salt and cracked pepper, that is it.

7/10 and that is giving you 3 for your efforts.

Anybody that names a calf and eats it gets a 10 from me,  even with the cowboy gun.
Real cowboys can carry cowboys guns and not look like they are out trick or treating.  I give him a 10+
