Goad, Rice has been a conservative Republican all her life. She's a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institute, a conservative think tank. You may have heard of other Hoover fellows, like Thomas Sowell, George Schultz, Ed Meese, Milton Friedman, and I believe Ronald Reagan is an honorary member. She also served under both Reagan's and Bush Sr.'s administrations.
I don't know all of her political views. She may not be "hardcore" but she sure ain't no "flaming liberal."

Hardcore means hardcore.
I am not a hardcore conservative.
I saw Rice say she "reluctantly accepted pro-life" and she was frowning.
She is not hardcore conservative.
Rice is Nationalistic. So am I. Nationalism is a necessary component of conservatism but is not sufficient, IMHO.
Vice-President Cheney does represent the core of the GOP, IMHO.
Further into the racing retard abyss:
Nixon and President GW Bush's father forgot who took them to the "dance", abandoned the GOP core, and both lost their presidency when the GOP core abandoned them, IMHO.
Reagan and "that Democrat that was impeached" never abandoned their core constituency and their core constituency never abandoned them, IMHO.
All President Bush must do to succeed is dance with the people that brought him to the dance.
Don't count on President Bush to fight against the AW ban. He is for the ban. He is against us owning new manufacture above 10 round capacity magazines.
Do count on President Bush reversing the anti-gun hysteria.
Do count on President Bush not taking your guns, magazines, ammunition, and reloading tools and components away.
IMHO, this is "dancing with SOME of the people that brought him to the dance."
