Say you had a photo that you wanted to post on the interweb.

How do you go about preventing image theft?

Is this simple or cost effective for the casual photographer?

For example, when you look at a Reuters or AP photo, they are copyrighted and watermarked.

Watermark, yeah.


IIRC, it's legally "yours" the instant you took the photograph. So the copyright part is already done.
